Stewardship Campaign for 2012 Ministries

Duke Memorial is planning to
grow deeper roots
and a wider reach in 2012.
You’re invited to get involved!

We have much to celebrate as we near the Christmas holidays.  Duke Memorial is answering the call to make new initiatives in Worship, Connections, Growth and Impact a reality in 2012.  As of November 28, we are 97% toward our goal of $575,000 in pledged contributions, with $17,000 left to go to fully fund our ministries and new initiatives next year.  More than 84 households have increased their pledge and 21 have made a pledge for the first time!  We still need to hear from many members of our congregation and encourage everyone to make their pledge as soon as possible.  Our wonderful and dedicated staff can use this time to finalize plans for next year so we can hit the ground running as of January 1.

Here’s what you can do now!  If you’ve made your pledge for next year, please pray for our congregation as we seek to fully fund our new initiatives for 2012.  If you have not made your pledge, please do so now by downloading the pledge form (click here) and mailing to Tim Smith, DMUMC Financial Secretary (504 W. Chapel Hill St., Durham NC  27701), or you can email Tim directly at (timsmith@dukememorial.org) with your confidential pledge for 2012.

Our Stewardship progress will be made available each week at the Worship Service and will be available via the enews and here on the Web.

Peace,

Eric & Crystal Miller, Stewardship Campaign Co-Chairs
