Adults

Duke Memorial is committed to being a community where people of all ages grow in their knowledge and trust of God through Jesus Christ.  Our adult ministries allow individuals to connect with God and others through friendship, study, service, and prayer.  There’s a place for everyone!

Small Groups!

Small groups at Duke Memorial provide opportunities to meet new people, learn about God, and grow as a follower of Jesus. Small groups last for 10-12 weeks, and run during the fall and spring. To get an idea of what our small groups look like, click here to see the list of small groups we had last spring. There are two small groups that will continue to meet throughout the summer:

Wednesday Morning Men’s Group: 7:30-8:30am, every other Wednesday morning in the Soul Cafe (May 22, June 5, June 19…). For more information, contact Sid Allen at sjhallen@earthlink.net.
Friday Morning Psalms Bible Study at JJ Henderson: 10:00-11:30am at the JJ Henderson Housing Center auditorium, 807 S. Duke Street. For more information, contact Reynolds Chapman: reynoldschapman@dukememorial.org.

Gifts for Ministry

All of us have received gifts for ministry, but it often takes some discernment and journeying with others in community to know what they are and how to use them. Click here to sign up for a small group or workshop, or take the online survey, about how to discover and use your gifts for ministry!
